-- Indonesian Dinner --
Lucky for the Dutch Club we had our first ever camping retreat for families and if you'd like a friend. Probably more than any other European country, the Dutch people like to camp. There was a campfire, inner tubing on the Crow river, fireworks and a good rainfall Saturday night. Lights went out at 5:00 am for some of us ... The Weinans had offered their acres of land along a river in Rogers, MN just ripe for a group campsite. What could have been more fun? See some pictures below .......
We were honored to honor Bert Blyleven on Saturday, July 16, 2011 at the Twins game. Bert hales from Zeist, NL and members of our board managed to get letters from the Dutch Embassy and his hometown of Zeist recognizing his contribution to the game of baseball since he recently was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame. He is now an honorary member of the Dutch Club of MN, NAAM as well!
